Food-grade oil is typically inexpensive and can be found at most hardware stores and is often called Butcher Block oil. As with any natural product, wood can be affected by variation in humidity and climate.

Note: You may notice a slight smell of oil or other finish product when your piece first arrives. This will dissipate overtime.
