Material: Each handcrafted wood piece comes from wood as unique as the end-product itself. As such, items vary slightly in size, shape, color, and finish as the natural essence of the wood dictates. Elements such as beetle impact, previous hardware, and/or knots in the wood can affect how each piece of art looks upon completion. We value these intricacies as part of the magic of woodworking and they ensure that each piece you receive is one-of-a-kind!
Care at home: Please be mindful of every product description as they will speak to the specific materials and finish-types used. Danish oil is a typical finish used in Tiger’s Woodshop. Yearly reapplication of Danish oil will help your art pieces preserve their beauty long into the future. Danish oil is typically inexpensive and can be found at most hardware stores. As with any natural product, wood can be affected by variation in humidity and climate.
Note: You may notice a slight smell of oil or other finish product when your piece first arrives. This will dissipate overtime.
